How to Stop Searching for the Meaning of Life...and finally find it.
Hint: It starts with the work you do within and in service to the people you touch.
The Big Idea 🚀
How to Find the Meaning of Life: One questions at a time…
There is a lot of conversation in the entrepreneurial world about finding your why.
Your purpose.
Your deeper mission.
The reason you’re here.
And it’s a beautiful idea.
We all want to believe that somewhere inside us there is a clear answer waiting to be discovered. Something that explains why we do what we do.
But here’s the challenge.
For many entrepreneurs, the question “What’s my why?” becomes so big that it stops them.
They sit with it. They think about it. They journal about it. They search for it.
And often… they never find it.
Because they’re looking in the wrong place.
The truth is, most people don’t discover their why by sitting quietly and thinking harder about themselves.
More often, they discover it through how they show up for others.
Purpose Doesn’t Arrive Like Lightning
After working with hundreds of entrepreneurs and CEOs, I’ve noticed something interesting.
Purpose rarely appears in a sudden moment of clarity. It doesn’t strike like lightning. Instead, it reveals itself gradually.
Through conversations.
Through relationships.
Through service.
And one of the simplest ways to begin accessing that deeper level of yourself is surprisingly practical.
You start by asking better questions.
Most entrepreneurs walk into meetings with a certain mindset.
They think:
“I know what the problem is.”
“I know what needs to happen.”
“I have the solution.”
And sometimes they do. But the most effective leaders approach conversations differently.
They talk less. And they ask more.
The Power of Better Questions
There are a handful of questions I often use with coaching clients. These folks pay me a lot of money for these conversations. And what’s interesting is how simple this is to do.
When you begin a meeting, whether it’s with a team member, a colleague, or even your boss, start with something straightforward:
“What’s on your mind?”
It sounds simple. But it does something powerful. It shifts the focus away from you… and onto them. And guess what? Most people will give you an answer.
But the real insight comes when you follow up with a second question:
“What else?”
That small phrase creates space. And when people feel that space, they tend to reveal what’s actually important to them.
Once the conversation opens up, you can go deeper.
You can ask:
“What’s the real challenge here for you?”
Not the surface issue. Not the technical problem. But the real challenge they’re facing.
Then another question that brings clarity:
“What do you want?”
It’s remarkable how often people talk about problems without ever defining what they actually want.
And finally, one of the most powerful leadership questions you can ask:
“How can I help?”
Interestingly, none of these questions ask why.
And that’s intentional. Because why questions are difficult for people to answer, especially in the moment. Why is this happening? Why am I here?
So instead of asking why, we focus on what and how.
And that’s where deeper insights begin to emerge.
Leadership Begins With Service
When you start asking questions like these, something remarkable happens.
People feel seen. They feel heard. And when people feel heard, trust begins to form.
But something else happens as well. You begin to discover something deeper about yourself.
Because purpose often reveals itself through service.
When you sincerely ask someone, “How can I help?”, the dynamic shifts. You’re no longer the entrepreneur trying to prove something. You become the leader who creates space for others to grow.
And paradoxically, that’s often when your own purpose begins to come into focus.
I’ve seen this happen dozens of times. And it was my process as well.
Where Purpose Really Begins
So if you’re an entrepreneur and you feel like something is missing…
If you’re searching for your deeper why…
Start where you are.
Start with your next conversation.
Talk a little less.
Ask a little more.
Ask:
What’s on your mind?
What else?
What’s the real challenge here for you?
What do you want?
How can I help?
Because sometimes the fastest way to discover who you are…
Is by helping others discover who they are.
And that’s where purpose begins.
Don’t work harder, work smarter….

What if an ancient book could unlock prosperity in your life?
For over 2,000 years, seekers of every faith — Jews, Christians, Muslims, and beyond — have turned to a mystical text called the Zohar. This isn’t just another book. It’s considered a map of the universe, a spiritual tool that reveals secrets of abundance, protection, and true prosperity.
One of the most powerful sections of the Zohar is called Miketz. For centuries, it’s been studied and used as a channel for financial sustenance, spiritual strength, and lasting fulfillment.
